Syringe filters with prefilters are GD/X, GD/XP and Anotop Plus. GD/X and Anotop Plus are used with glass microfiber prefilters that have high dirt loading capacity. Additionally, the prefilters used with GD/X have larger pores on the top surface (inlet side) compared to the pores on the bottom surface. This asymmetric pore structure further increases the dirt loading capacity of the prefilter. Prefilters used in GD/XP are constructed from polypropylene and are suitable for metal analysis applications.
We provide a range of syringe filters that contain built-in prefilters. These syringe filters are designed to make filtration easier for the user. Prefilters extend the useful life of the final membrane filter, enabling larger volumes to be filtered with reduced hand pressure.
